Why X-Men #94 Is Valuable
X-Men #94, by Chris Claremont and Dave Cockrum, is the first regular-series issue of the new team introduced in Giant-Size X-Men #1: Wolverine, Storm, Colossus, Nightcrawler, Banshee and Thunderbird joined Cyclops, while most of the original members left. The issue cost 25 cents.

How to Spot an X-Men #94 Reprint
- Cover price. The original US edition says 25¢. A copy priced in pence is a genuine UK edition.
- Reprints. The story was reprinted in Classic X-Men and collected editions, which have a different title and price.
- Marvel Value Stamp. Many 1974–1975 Marvel issues had a cut-out stamp on the letters page. A missing stamp lowers the grade, so check that page is complete.
- Paper. Originals are on off-white newsprint, not bright white paper.
